Does God Hate? God loves those who obey Him and hates those who do not obey Him: I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: (Deuteronomy 30:19) Jesus said that He felt the same way: If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. (John 15:10) So Jesus does not love (hates) those who do not obey Him. Jesus said again: But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me. (Luke 19:27) If you do not keep Jesus´ commandments then you are saying that you do not want Him to reign over you and when Jesus comes back He will slay you. Again Jesus said: Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. (John 15:14) That means Jesus will make you His friend only if you obey Him completely. Since almost all people do not keep Jesus' commandments, Jesus hates almost all of the people on Earth. Those who want to correct this situation should start preaching that all Christians must obey Christ completely. Christ´s commandments are most concentrated in the Sermon on the Mount located in theGospel of Matthew chapters 5, 6 and 7. There are a few others scattered around in the four Gospels. Since your life depends on knowing and obeying these commandments you should read the Gospels and write down each commandment. One commandment is not to think that Christ abolished the Mosaic Law: Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5:17-19) So there is much to be taught and much to be learned about the commandments of God in the Bible. It may take time and patience, but since it is required to have eternal life and to be the friend of Jesus and the Father it is worth it. Yes, God does hate. Does he hate you? These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren. (Proverbs 6:16-19) |
