Do You Believe in Jesus? Most people I know claim to be Christians. They say they believe in Jesus Christ. They say they believe the Bible does not lie. I really think they are living a lie, because their actions do not match their words. If people really believed Jesus is the Son of God they would obey his instructions. And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I  say? (Luke 6:46) Most people don´t even read the Bible to know what His instructions are. If you believe what the Bible says about Jesus, then you must believe He is the Son of God. If you believe He is the Son of God, then you must believe that obeying His commands is a requirement of faith. Therefore Christians should be deeply ashamed of their lack of obedience to Jesus´ Gospel, but they are not. The lack of shame shows that they do not believe in Jesus.  Almost no one today really believes in Jesus. The same was true in the time when Jesus was on earth: His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that thy disciples also may see the works that thou doest. For there is no man that doeth any thing in secret, and he  himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to the world. For neither did his brethren believe in him. (John 7:3-5) A servant who always does what his master tells him to do is ´faithful´. A servant who does not obey is ´unfaithful´. A servant who disobeys his master but is very sorry for his weakness is ´unfaithful´ but may receive mercy. However, a shamelessly unfaithful servant will receive punishment.  Jesus´ unfaithful servants are breaking the laws of God just like the non-Christians do and sometimes worse! Non-Christian nations obey God better than ´Christian´ nations do today. The proof:  Japan has much less murder, divorce, theft, oppression and poverty than ANY ´Christian´ country does. I am sure Christ is very angry about His name being misused. ´Christian´ churches are perverting the words of Jesus and making excuses for sin. They have no obedience because they have no fear of God. They have no fear of God because liars have preached to them that God will forgive even shameless sinners. There is no place in the Bible that promises a shameless sinner anything but curses from God. So there are many people saying ´Lord, Lord´ but not obeying. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. (Matthew 7:21) Shameless sinners do not fear Jesus because they do not believe in Him or His Gospel.
