The Mark of the Beast Since God loves righteousness and righteousness is ´loving your neighbor as yourself´, therefore the most offensive thing to God a person can do is to behave like an animal or ´beast´. Beasts do not follow the law of God. Other than a few ´clean´ beasts such as cattle, sheep and doves they are very evil. They kill and do not remain faithful to their mates. They deceive. They are jealous of each other and steal. People are not supposed to be like beasts, but these descriptions sometimes fit people better than animals! Since beasts only think about themselves and their offspring, the prophets used them to describe the kingdoms of the world which also seek their own benefit at all times. Kingdoms (and all forms of human government) use all the attributes of an animal to survive and prosper. This has been the case ever since governments first existed. When the final kingdom of wicked men comes it will force all the people of the world to worship it. The form of worship required will be to become beast-like in the same way the kingdom is beast-like. The people will be required to kill, commit adultery, lie, steal and be jealous of one another, or to approve of those who do. This is the mark of the beast on the forehead or the right hand. You may not have to kill (with your right hand) , but you will have to approve of killing with your mind (forehead). If you do not do this you will be excluded from the economy and will struggle to buy or sell anything in a world filled with oppressive, hateful and merciless beastlike people. This kingdom is already here - it is Capitalistic Democracy. In this kingdom the people must always seek their personal self-interest or slowly bleed to death. If people are unbeastlike in this kingdom they are hated for their righteousness which is seen as weakness by the beastlike people. Also, if people are unbeastlike employers sometimes say they are not ´aggressive´ enough and refuse to hire them. It is a nightmare kingdom which is destroying the saints of God while making the world wealthy and powerful. It will surely get worse because the name of the beast is 666. The number 6 is the number of days in the week that may be dedicated to seeking our own benefit through the labor and oppression of employees. It is supposed to be followed by the number 1, which is the day of rest and freedom from labor or oppression given by God in His law. However, the Beast´s number is 666 not 616. This is the nature of the kingdom:  never ending oppression and self-interest - a type of hyper-capitalism we see developing now. The economy will be so competitive that anyone who follows the righteous laws of God will not be able to buy or sell. There will be oppression of the poor without mercy on a global scale. When this kingdom finally takes over the entire world and overcomes the saints of God (those who seek the benefit of others before themselves - the remaining unbeastlike people) it will place the Abomination of Desolation and  the world will enter into the Great tribulation.  The people God chooses to save will be spiritually reaped (not killed): Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh         harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look         on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto         life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may         rejoice together. And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another  reapeth. I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other         men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours. (John 4:35-38) Then the wicked will be trodden in the winepress of the wrath of God (Revelation 14:19) and killed: For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating         and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day         that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so         shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be         taken, and the other left. (Matthew 24:38-41) The people who know God will not receive the mark of the Beast, because they will refuse to become self-interested and beastlike. Those who do not know Him probably already have the mark of the Beast without knowing it. Anyone who behaves like a beast or thinks like a beast already has this mark on them. They have denied the spirit of God and accepted the spirit of devils and are guilty even if they didn´t know they received the mark. The opposite of the mark of the Beast is the ´seal´ of God on your forehead. This is the desire to do good to others - the Holy Spirit. This ´seal´ will be worth everything you have on judgment day. Do not sell it for a job or for profit and you will be rewarded in the end.   And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. (Revelation 14:11)
